The NetBible is a translation of the Bible from the original languages by over twenty different scholars. This multimillion-dollar project was undertaken in 1995 to provide a version of the Bible on the internet that would be free from most of the copyright restrictions of most modern translations. It is unique in that it provides extensive notes explaining the reasons for most translation decisions in the NetBible text.
Additional study tools are available on the website.
Note: Because of the nature of the NetBible project, their goal is to provide resources for users from a relatively broad theological spectrum. Therefore views found there are those of the respective authors and not necessarily those of ABI.
